I bought my Transalp in February with only one set of keys. I wanted to have spare so I contacted Motoden Honda and they quoted me £60 for a blank key that I still have to go and cut. It seems extortionate, so I wanted to ask is there any other way to get the spare done? Thanks

So I have an XL250R and just realised how bloody awful it is to source parts, so I'm looking for donar bikes that have the same parts list, first and obvious choice is the bigger brother the XR250. Anyone know how similar these two are and if anyone has crossbred them already?

Right, Ive been offered what the bloke thinks is a Dominator, Reg. No. is A709 FPK, when I look it up on the DVLA Sit it says its a 600. Did they do any 600 Dommies or is it something else, help please. Its in a bit of a state with lots missing, but the price reflects this. Rick

No sparks. Replaced CDI unit and coils. So,I'm thinking this is where the problem is. Wemoto /Silvers state this part is no longer available. Anyone have a spare set for sale or know of somewhere to look ? Cheers.

Ok...stupid question, but I am a curious bugger.. I have used an AT sump guard on my alp and it fits just fine, however there is a small section which has been made into a flap and folded in...can you guys illuminate me as to its function on the @... it seems to be harmless/useless on the TA R.

Anybody had any experience with any of the universal type silencers for 650 Transalp? Specific versions are extortionate but pattern universal seem one fifth of the price... Not interested in performance but a bit more bark for when filtering might be nice to avoid the SMIDSY syndrome... Regards
