I was wanting to get rid of the air box and put a K&N filter or similar on and wanted any advice on size, type or shape. As you can see from the attached it must be possible. Also probably need re jetting so again any or all advice welcomed. BTW K&N were less than helpful when I asked...
After a long search for KTM WP forks I ended up with 2 sets - 1 pair was attached to a very clean KTM 990 Adventure...so I sold the AT. Probably a mistake I know.
Today, I bumped in to its' re-incarnation!
Where can I purchase two main needle jets (the long needles attached to the carb slide)? I know the part number but am unable to find anyone stocking this item.
Addition to this post- I found that Rugged Roads stock the items (stocked as "Fuel Needles"..!!!) . However they have two part numbers...
I started the long awaited complete strip down of my 87 TA the other day and noticed a switch mounted under the rear mudguard. It is attached to an orange relay(?) with 6 connectors (only 2 of which are used).
Any idea what it is?
I changed my air filter last night to a new K&N one (old one was grubby!)
When removing the tank, I removed all of the hoses / fuel sensor cable. Where the smallest tube on the right side of the bike attached, I had fuel coming out. Is this normal? I was sure that no fuel would come out...
Just noticed that the gromit which is attached by cable to the rear cylinder on my CRF250L doesn't appear to seat correctly. Are they all like that or does it need a bit more pressure to get it to seat correctly ?
Thanks for any advice
I really need one of these for my Transalp XL600V 1998, its the part in this pic that has no number ( the three way knuckle ) im interested in any condition as long as its off the swingarm, the reason I need one is the problem you can have with getting the damn thing off the swingarm. ;);););)
I added a dominator exhaust and off road mudguard to my TA last week. I think the mudguard ads a more aggressive look the machine. The exhaust was cheap but I do not think the link pipe is engineered to the correct angle as the exhaust was tight against the indicator.
I have attached...
Hi there, I look for advice before purchasing a 1994 XRV 750. I saw the on the motor cover there is the paint chipped off (see attached image. The bike otherwise seems nicely treated (not that much rust or dents).
Question: How can that happen? Is this an indication for a problem with the...
I'm trying to unclip the fuse box that's next to the coolant reservoir so i can see the wiring to the clock fuse, i can't see or feel how its attached to the bracket. Can anyone remember how to unclip it. Its an RD07A
Leading on from my other thread I have fitted the new fuse holder and fuse but battery flat. I have a charger and while the battery may be dead I want to charge it up but can I do this with it in place and all attached so to speak?
OK, come on, spill the beans!
I've been working near Holborn for the last three days, and came out to the bike bay this afternoon to find a note attached to my bike.
Note said: BobA you are being watched, from a forum stalker
So come on, who was it?
Discovered a hole in my original exhaust, on the underside as it starts to sweep up. Looks like it's meant to be there, but can't think why:happy6:
Unless something has fallen off that should be attached...
It's an RD07 btw...i'll post a pic later if that'll help:thumbright:
