Has anyone here replaced their steering head bearings? If so...how did you remove the bearing 'race' that is on the lower yoke? This thing... The internet suggests - using a chisel - using an angle grinder - using a dremel - using two screwdrivers - using some sort of special tool so...how...

Hi everyone, I've recently discovered a rattle from the clutch cover on my 93 rd07. It happens when the clutch is pulled in. I'm thinking that it's the release bearing, wondering if anyone had any other ideas? Thanks Stewart Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

I’m pretty sure all the above use the same basic frame, so the dimensions i’m after should be the same. Could someone with a Swing-Arm from one of these measure the front pivot width. That would be the outer width, i.e. the width required in the frame and also the inside width, i.e. the width...

Hi guys, It would seem that the previous owner of my RD03 suffered a wheel bearing failure on the rear. Instead of finding a new hub they bodged it and have left me to sort out the mess. The bearing should sit between these two lines, not going to happen here. A mixture of bearing failure...

On the off chance, does anyone have a list of bearings required to rebuild a 2000 nx650 (not engine internals). Wheels, Swing Arm, Linkage etc As a lot of people have rebuilt theirs, thought they may have a list lying around with this info on.

Hei, So I just recently bought an AT RD07A, traded up from an older Transalp. I enjoyed the last few months of the season although I knew work needed to be done on her. So new wheels bearing FandB, brake calipers overhauled, new chainset, new tyres and a well needed service all carried out. I...

Firstly- an amusing photo: Despite drilling out the staked part of the clutch retaining nut, I managed to do this to a short length of 20mm round steel bar I'd welded to the dead front sprocket, and braced against the frame. A breaker bar with a short length of scaffold added was sufficient, I...

I have a 1989 RD03 and the front end feels like it's made of jelly. If I shake the bars when stationary the whole front end wobbles back up through the bars. This also happens when moving at low speeds (below 10mph) and when coming to a stop which throws the whole bike off balance. Once moving...
