    I had an uprated Ohlins spring with adaptors fitted by Kais in Atherton before our Greece trip back in '08 (blimey!). Stock spring rate is 13.2kg/mm as I recall, the Ohlins 15kg/mm and it does carry the weight better without being hard/harsh solo. £70 posted. I can fit to a decent spare...

    Well its strip down and fix stuff time again! Pulling all the nato paint off the twin back to standard took hours! Replaced forks seals easy peesy trying something new this time automatic transmission fluid in the forks:clown: Headstocks done dumped the stock bearings for tapered. Next job...

    Managed to get out for a spin on Saturday - just went up to Ipswich and tootled around - feck me it was cold - manged to dig out my winter gear which on the whole kept me warm, but my finger tips were freezing (that was with winter gloves). I guess my vented handguards didnt help - now sorted...
