Recently bought a 2001 plated Varadero. Planning a trip to Russia next year and looking for mounting for my Tomtom and Delorme. I have ram mounts but find they hide the clocks
Wondering if a brace bar on the handlebars would help
I'm new to the forum and need some advice please.
I've just bought a 1989 Domi and I am planning to make a flat tracker(ish) bike out of it. I will be keeping the 21" front end with the standard forks. My questions is, is the fork brace necessary as many of the domies I've seen...
As the quetion suggests.
I had them on my Dommie a while back and now the same set up on the TA.
How necessary are the metal fork braces that reside under the standard mudguard? Or is it just a gimmicky thing?
After all, my XR didn't seem to need a fork brace...
How are TA forks so...

Have any of you ever fitted a front fork brace on the original forks? The fender brace is a joke and I am wokdering if this brace will add stability to the bike. Thanks and enjoy summer!
My Adventure Leatt brace arrived today. My wife took some piccies tonight to give you an idea of the positioning. Apologies for the ugly model but that's the best I coudl do :D
First let me say that the restriction you expect from this brace is not at all as such. There is NO and I repeat NO...
Looking at narrowing my bars so the bike will fit through the front door!
Thinking I might get some new bars as there's not much to play with if I just cut the Honda bars down. Read various threads extolling the virtues of Renthal bars but the most suitable sizes look like their road bars...
