It's nearly time to get new tyres for my Dommie. No idea how long the current BT-45s have been on there (I've done 7,000 miles on them) but they're well worn now.
What's the weapon of choice for road-going inner-tubed Dommies these days? The Bridgies are ok, if a little squirmy going across...
Just back in from a 4 hour b-road ride on the new BT45's - the bike is transformed! Kicking myself for persevering with the awful Avon Distanzas for so long - the bike is now stable, copes with broken surfaces and has grip at last - a real pleasure to ride now! Can't speak for off-road riding...
I'm sure this will have come up before, I'm not an off road type rider I prefer the black stuff under my wheels not loose brown stuff.
With that in mind which is the best all-rounder tyre, I've got my eyes on the BATTLAX BT-45V / BT-45.
I know everyone has their favourites and I have had...
I have a TT Rider 2 and want to just use a bluetooth receiver with an earpiece. I don't want or need to use a headset with mike.
I do have a bt' receiver but Rider won't connect even though it finds it. The Rider says it doesn't recognise the "phone" and promptly rejects it.
(I can get the bt'...
just wondering if I'm right in thinking the Bridgestones are still the stickiest tyre for a standard rimmed dommie, only used on road.....I've been using Distanzas which I've never felt safe on - I thought it was just me or maybe the dusty, polished roads out here, but I've been reading about...
Looks like the only way to watch MotoGP from next year will be to pay for it - BT Sport confirmed for MotoGP deal and MotoGP: BT Sport secures TV rights from 2014 in five-year deal.
So, I suppose I'll have to go out and ride my own bike now rather than watching the racing.
Anyone have any ideas on what grab rails would fit a 2001 Alp? I'm slowly turning it into my version of a TransRat.
I've taken off the rear rack and replaced the rear indicators, now I need a front fairing. I'm thinking of getting the Puig Alien one with the stacked headlights and either...
Any BT-type people out there?
My parents have a problem with their DECT cordless phone working out in an out building (garage converted to an office). In the past they ran a telephone extension out there but it kept attracting lightning and causing power cuts.
They use those plug in the...

I changed my broadband to BT yesterday and they are offering massive reductions on Vision.
A few things, currently, where we are, we cannot get Freeview.
Right, whilst we might not go with it, I cannot currently see the benefits.
I'm not interested in the Sports, Music or Kids packages and the...
Having some down time again:mad: decided to check the things I pay for on Direct debit, yes dangerous I know but got to be done.
Well find out as I have sky phone broadband etc only use Bt for the phone line rental -not for much longer.
Found out as my calls are via sky who I pay, Bt have been...
