  1. Heavy clutch on Transalp 650

    Transalp
Afternoon. My first post here. Just acquired a scruffy 2002 Transalp 650. However, all seems reasonably sound with history etc. However, clutch seems very heavy, even with new cable. Before I dismantle, any thoughts please? Perhaps just bunged up with crud from the past 36,000 miles?

    Dominator / FMX
My dommie’s tail light failed on the way home last night. The first clue was when a trucker flashed his lights at me after I passed him on the M25. A couple of others flashed but it’s remarkable how many of my fellow motorists didn’t! Also remarkable what a faff it is to get to the bulb. Both...

TA 650 (probably applies to all models though) For anyone thinking of doing this..on the 650 its a bit of a job. The Haynes manual says you just "attach the lower end of the new cable to the upper end of the old cable, and just pull the cable through", yeah, right. What it fails to mention...
