just about to embark on an engine rebuild. My bike is an XL125 (mid 70s) and it has a CB125S (early 70s) engine.
After a mammoth clean-up operation I've removed 20 years of crap from every part and found that luckily most of them have survived.

Was chuffed as a chuffed thing when the new clutch turned up the very next day and it was the right one!
Now, the springs, have a look at this:
The spring at the bottom has an extra coil, and that is the only one that is tight! The others are nowhere near as loose as the old...
After recent new chain & sprockets for my AT, I have bought a scottoiler and fitted it in the week to look after them.
I think the best overall place for tidiness and to feed the oil onto the chain is when the chain leaves the front sprocket – so decided that's where I'd fit it.
