    Just noticed i have had my 2000 carby varadero for 6 months now. What have i found out 1 Preload adjusted to 18 clicks, works just lovely 2 Sensitive to tyre presssures when they are flatter than reccomended even a little becuase i have not bothered to do them, bike feels shite 3 Front spark...

    Does anybody know where i can buy a new pair of cams for the chain adjustment? The numbers on mine are hardly visible so wheel alignment is a bit tricky. cheers Ralph

    Hello Folks, Recently adjusted my chain to setting list in the Haynes manual ( 35-45mm on the side stand), but it seems too tight to me ! Have they got it right :? ? Thanks Billy P.S. TA 91

    I've just fitted a Scottoiler, which I should have done a year ago, and adjusted the chain. The adjustment has taken the indicator a tweak over the marker telling me to renew the chain. What's the general opinion about this? Do they mean that it really needs changing, or is there any flexibility...

    Anybody have problems adjusting their chain? 2001 Alp, 8000 mls. Set as per Haynes manual ie. 45mm on the side stand. Fairly tight when I'm sitting on bike and VERY tight with girlfriend on board! Chain in good order with no tight spots and I don't want to make it looser or it sags quite badly...
