Looking at putting one of these on the AJP as the original pump/filter setup can cause issues. I've swapped them out now, but some users suggest a post-pump filter is a good idea too. A fiver or so is possibly cheap insurance!

This one is in amazing condition. Someone needs to hack the back off and build a tracker :bom: Seriously though you wont see many like this. Nothing to do with me just thought it was nice. Honda might want...
An early VFR750 was advertised locally so went to have a look and brought it. These early models can now be used on VMCC runs (over 25 years old) and insurance is cheap. I have owned a VFR400 and a VF500 in the past so an opportunity to try the real thing. It came with full touring equipment of...
Does anyone know the history of this bike:

First of all a big hello from me since i am new in the forum. So i was looking around the internet for an exhaust suitable for my baby(xl700v) and i came up with the Fuel exhausts site. After searching a bit in the forum i saw that other ppl also use them on their bikes but my dilemma is which...
New to the forum so please be gentle
I have a 1991 XRV 750 RD04 AT sat in my garage awaiting some TLC but I'm now thinking of just selling her on as a non runner for spares or repair to clear some space. The only thing is I have no real idea what it's worth.
She is an import with...
Picked the Sept. issue of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics mag up the other day, and there's a good report on a chap in Wales who's done a nice resto on an RD04L.
Mostly a standard refit and refurb, but a cracking livery conversion from "shell-suit" to HRC R/W/B :)
All that's best in modern...
My son wants to sell his 1981 Yamaha DT125.
Its just had a new chain and sprocket set and new brakes.
We changed the Gianelli exhaust for a standard one.
Its got 8500km on the clock and it always starts first or second kick.
We have owned it 5months and he only used it twice.
How much is it...
Out with the Copdock Classic Motorcycle Club yesterday, 50 odd miles round the twistys from Ipswich out to the Flixton aviation museum at Bungay.
Good ride out, I'd guess well over a hundred bikes in all, entry fees to the East Anglia Children's Hospice
Great weather, mostly sunny...
Heres how the Scouse B,stard looks now.
Just a few bits n bobs to do then wire it up.
I am going to put an old classic mudguard on the front like Nicks got on his.
Its been fun to build but on a budget it takes way too long.
I cant wait to start it up and go scare the local wildlife.
I am thinking of finding a 1980s XL500R to replace my knackered daily ride.
I have seen a few nice bikes for sale in Germany and a Paris Dakar version which was just outside my budget.
Is there anything I should look for when I am looking for one?
If you have owned one of these ,please share...
Just thought I would share something non bike related.
My son is at college and doing some media type stuff with a load of other kids.
Him and six class mates were given a class project to make a small film.
My son is in charge of the sound effect department .
Take a look and let me know what...
I need to go and buy some 2 stroke oil to mix 25:1 with some lead free so I can go test ride this little terrorist machine I just bought.
Now I am thinking Cazzy R because I love the aroma and would smoke my sausages with it if it tasted good.:D:D:D
Has 2 stroke oil technology made any advances...
I was thinking about how there just isn't an equivalent to the TA 600 in todays marketplace. It's all either 250cc or 750cc bikes. The 700 translp is just plain ugly. I think the 600 transalp is still the best looking one, a real design classic.
If Honda re-released the 600, everything exactly...
