I need to replace the master cylinder on my '95 @. Mirror broke of in it in Lesotho. Can I do this my self or do I need a specialist to do this. If I can how do I bleed the brakes to prevent air from entering the system? :?:

Hello all, I haven't been around for quite a while, but I'm back now.. :) I have a small problem with my RD04 and I have no idea how to solve it. What happens? Whenever I try to start the bike, when it's cold, it only starts in onw cylinder. The second one only starts after a few minutes. I've...

I'm the "happy" owner of a 1996 Honda Dominator engine, wich I plan to use in a Honda XR frame. The problem is that the cylinder head of this engine is beyond rescue, but the XR 600 engine is complete with lots of new parts. Still, I want to use the Dominator engine because of the electric...

Hi all. I set out this weekend to finally fit a high front mudguard, and (in the way villains speak on Scooby Do when they've been caught) 'it would have been alright if it wasn't for those pesky Africa Twins!' Actually, what happened was I ended up trying to track down and cure an...

Headed out yesterday (one of the coldest and officially the shortest day of the year so far) on a 250 mile+ ride from London to Holyhead. With freezing fog and icicles on my jacket this was a mad venture to be sure.. :x ...and I realised the madness about 50 miles in when my 92 registered...

One other quick question - when I was running the engine to dry it yesterday I noticed that the cylinders were at different temperatures to the touch - by that I mean, as you sit on the bike, the right rear cylinder was too hot to touch by hand after a few minutes, the right front was warm and...

One of my cylinders just stopped firing the last 4 miles of my journey home on My 1999 @ (36,000 mls). 10 mins later after I limped home on 1 cylinder I started her up & she was running normally on both cylinders. I would appreciate it if any of you have come across this problem yourself & could...

I'm currently giving my AT a thorough service and I'm guessing I'll find the rear cylinder is running a bit lean. How so? While poking around tonight I noticed that the rubber connection from inlet tract to vacuum feed for the Scottoiler had rotted in two and the vac. pipe was hanging loose...
