Started a new contract on the North end of Skye, two jobs fairly close to each other. Here are some photos, not meant to p1ss you guys off or anything ;), just to pinpoint a good location to go for a rideout if any of you are coming up North this year. The area where I am working is just North...

http://news.sky.com/home/article/16154063 This story comes a week after my wife had to put herself between a dog and my three year old daughter. She got clawed and muddy for her trouble but my daughter was unscathed. The mid 40's dopey bitch of an owner was remarkably unconcerned apparently...

Very funny Tweet from Edmund King, president of the AA: How long does it take to fill a pothole in the UK? This Japanese road was repaired in 6 days after the earthquake. See Japan tsunami and earthquake: Road repaired SIX days after it was destroyed | Mail Online

After some complete lunatic caused me to come off my AT yesterday I now need to mend my headlight fairing panel and left side fairing panel which have been cracked (whilst bouncing off the lunatics right rear light of his car). :blob6: Has anyone fixed fairing panels themselves using some...

Hello, had an accident a while back on my RD03, and destroyed the rear wheel. I cannot find replacement RD03 rear wheel, but I came accross an RD07 wheel, which has bigger hub and my RD03 parts do not fit that wheel. Since I have to acquire new parts from RD07 to fit that wheel, my question is...

Hi there, just about to embark on an engine rebuild. My bike is an XL125 (mid 70s) and it has a CB125S (early 70s) engine. After a mammoth clean-up operation I've removed 20 years of crap from every part and found that luckily most of them have survived. visit my blog for pics...

Well, mixed bag today! I had to take the Landrover downtown to pick up some stuff but the damned thing wouldn't start! Tried jumping it off the van but no go, I think it might be the starter motor. Oh well, job for tomorrow, I'll put my tailpack on the Ickle Beemer and pop down the street. Lost...

I'm getting fed up spending £20 on these pathetic plastic drive gears that wear out if everything isnt 100% clean, greased, straight, etc etc etc !! My speedo stopped working a few days ago and on inspection the drive gear was worn down and a bit chewed up. £25 and 3 days later and the new...

Hi folks! I'm lucky enough to have a repairable but quite damaged '06 XL650V at my fingertips for a project, and thought I might ask a few questions about tank options in case anyone's been through the same. The bike is in great shape - frame and engine undamaged, but the tank is beyond...

Friday night I was on my way up to Whitley Bay to my sister's house and was riding along the A19, as the fog got thicker north of Middlesborough I decided to slow down, not as much as I wanted though as other people were still going 70+ with visibility of less than 30m if that. Got to Peterlee...
  19. Buell / Harley Davidson
I am thinking about a change of bike, I quite fancy an AT , it seems from MCN, reports that the 750 engine is easy to live with and smooth. The bit that bothers me is the fact that it's heavier, has worse fuel consumption and well down on power compared to my M2. But the Buell just doesn't...
  20. CRF - New Forum!
Hello all of you out there. I'm a new boy on the block and found this forum by accident. I'm pretty well through a project with the CRF230. I've scrapped the "lighting kit" that came with the bike and replaced it with xr400 headlight, shroud and speedometer. Speedo cable from xr200 fits a...
