First of all a big hello from me since i am new in the forum. So i was looking around the internet for an exhaust suitable for my baby(xl700v) and i came up with the Fuel exhausts site. After searching a bit in the forum i saw that other ppl also use them on their bikes but my dilemma is which...
  2. Wheel bearings dilemma

    Africa Twin
Should be replacing mine and I see that Honda has superseded the RS type (rubber/plastic seal) with Z ones with metal shield. These have less drag but aren't completelly sealed as RS ones. Any thoughts on why was this done or what are the benefits?
  3. Morocco 2014

    Africa Twin
Hi guys, My dilemma...I have a 'pass out' for a trip to Morocco in March:thumbleft:, but am having trouble finding a tour. Does anyone know of a short trip to Morocco this March that may have space for one more? I have looked at the usual sites on the 'tinternet, but unfortunately I can't find...
  4. XL125K gearbox dilemma

    XL
Hi folks. I've had to strip down my engine to the bare bones to clean out the remains of a piston. I took out the gearshift shaft and cleaned up the three forks paying careful attention to what sequence they were on the shaft. What I didn't do was to notice which way round they go :(. The...
  5. Gold or Silver Rims on the RD04?????

    Africa Twin
So following my front end replacement thanks to an uninsured driver and everyone on here's quick help to source the parts (especially Kitped), my white RD04 has a silver front rim and a gold back rim. Now winter has arrived and it's time to sort the AT out a little this has ignited my original...
  6. XL 600 Dilemma – What would you do?

    XL
So I stripped the XL down (pics will follow!) and basically the cam chain has had it along with the tensioner arm. A couple of rocker arms are quite worn as well, so totalling all the bits I need including the missing parts (coil, disc, cables, battery, chain etc) come to about 350-pounds...
  7. dilemma!

    BMW
As much as I like the XMoto, I can't decide if I should keep it or not. I keep changing my mind every 5 minutes. It's a dilemma. Do I really need this many bikes? However, it is entirely possible I was the only person who liked the bike in the first place. I've certainly never seen another one...
  8. Crashbar dilemma

    Triumph
I'm definitely going to get a set of crashbars but really can't decide between the Triumph-Online ones in DC's thread or Hepco & Becker ones. T.O are ex-stock but H&B about 10-14 days. Not a lot of difference in price but can't decide which look best (probably H&B?) or offer best protection...

  10. Dilemma

    Chatter
Sorry guys, but I can't even decide what to have for lunch while I'm at home waiting for the washing machine repair man. What do you reckon : 1) Cheese on toast, an old favourite. 2) Poached eggs on toast, hmm will need to nip out and buy eggs. 3) Sausage butty.
  11. Dilemma

    Chatter
I'm starting to look for a replacement for my trust Laguna. I really, really, really fancy a Porsche  However they're so damn expensive. An 8 year old 911 Carrerra coupe is £34,000!      For that price I could buy a brand new Peugeot 407 2.7 Hdi coupe...
