  1. Powdercoat colour engine cases XRV650

    Africa Twin
So I’m rebuilding a ‘89 XRV650 and I want to paint the engine. The side cases I removed and I want them to be powdercoated but I’m in doubt about the colour. Powdercoat can be done in most RAL colours. Anyone ever done this and know which colour comes closest to the original?
  2. New shock advice.

    Dominator / FMX
My nx650 RD02 (1989) is in need of a new shock. The current shock is an old Hagon that is at least 20 years old fitted by the previous owner and I doubt very much it is serviceable by the look of it. Im on a tight budget (meaning I don’t want to spend a fortune) but need to replace it...

  4. They stole my Vara...

...and I was struggling to work out how. Nicked from work car park and headed for fields, I followed tracks across them, I was sprinting and I'm no slouch for a big lad! I was a few mins behind them, loads of folk telling me... Couldn't see how they'd pushed it up the hills, doubt they started...

  6. Front wheel Disc/rotor brake

    Africa Twin
Bike is a 1993 rd07, and my doubt is if there is any difference between the Right Rotor and Left rotor, besides the "R" and the "L" mark in each rotor/disc brake? Looking at them (visual inspection) they look exactly the same with the exeption of an L and R marking on the side. Why am i asking...

  12. Road tax discs to go?

From the BBC - Car tax disc to be axed after 93 years. I assume they mean vehicle tax discs, but with this bunch of incompetents they probably do mean car tax discs. Will this alter, in any way, the number of motorists not paying their road tax? Somehow I doubt it. 100% free webcam site! |...
