  1. engine is "drowning" on full throttle

    Transalp
I have a new problem now :/ When I twist the throttle quickly, fully (on low rev) the engine is "drowning" (or struggling, dont know how to describe, basicly loses power) instead of rev up immediately as it used too. If I twist the throttle slower everything is fine, no power loss. Is this the...

  7. Grinding noise when decelerating

    Africa Twin
Hi Guys My beloved AT isn't sounding too good. I've noticed a "grinding" noise coming from "somewhere" in the front of the bike. It is more noticable when I release the throttle and the engine is slowing down on compression and isn't so loud when I accelerate again. It's noticable in 1st, 2nd...
  8. Knackered carbs. WTF do I do?

    Africa Twin
OK, the bike's been off the road for six weeks now, and I'm getting nowhere. The bike shop have had the carbs apart, rebuilt them, and tried to get it running nicely. The bikes runs, but super rich. They tell me that the carbs are worn out, and just about every part needs replacing. They're not...

Looking for the good in the situation, I was glad it went...
