My RD 4 seems to be running a little lean after i have installed a hi-flo filter and Arrow exhaust. I am thinking of fitting dynojets stage 1 kit, but is it worth the money?
The Arrow is fittet with a sligtly opened-up db-killer.
Honda vfr800 2000 FiY k&n power commander & o2 sensor eliminators
I have a k&n power commander and o2 sensor eliminators which were fitted to my honda vfr800 FiY year 2000 model bike and may fit others. I think it fits the 2001 non-vtec model but you would need to check. The k&n reference kit...
It'd be interesting to hear different folk's views . . .
Are you happy with the stock configuration or are you searching for the perfect setup?
Have you done Dave's carb mods?
K&N vs Honda air filter?
Anyone installed a dynojet kit?
After market pipe?
Hi folks, just bought an XRV, 1999. Just stripped the carbs to review and clean. Noticed that was running with larger jets etc seem to recall 124 for mains. Reviewing the Dynojet instructions from web page they recommend drilling out the vacuum slide. Both outer slide holes need expanding, but...
I'm trying to find out if a Dyno kit exists for a 1989 NX650. The reason for my search is I am told it will free up the strangled motor. At the moment the engine feels under powered. The bike has an after market can and I intend to use a K&N air filter.
Has anyone got any ideas, had or having...
After my last post and all your helpful comments, I will be buying RR bars for my 'twin....
I would like to know your thoughts on changing the original downpipes to after market ones to match up my Leovince can.
Is it worth it? What have you got, how does is sound and is it...
As many others, my FMX with full Arrow, K&N filter and Dynojet kit was running very lean with 160 main supplied in the kit. Runs much better with the stock 168. I ordered 170 and 175 Dynojet mains.
Which one do you think can fit better to start?. I live only a few meters at sea level.
has anyone put a dyno-jet stage 1 kit on a varadero1000 carb version?
and anybody know the effectiveness of it and is it worth it? i think it could be a good mod to increase the throttle pick up and add a slight bit of power :p
any thoughts let me know...............
so I bought K&N Filter, I made two holes in airbox and I fitted dynojet kit. Firstly I mounted bigger nozzles (düse). When I drove it, it accelated like horse. From exhaust smellt like old car so I assumed that A/F ration is not ok. Then I mounted lambda o2 sensor on exhaust so I can check...
Filter and Dynojet have both done about 2000 miles on my bike.
I have not cleaned the filter as they apparently filter better once they have a build up of dirt on them.
They would cost well over £100 to buy new, I'm asking £50.00.
E-mail me tim.humbug"at"guernsey.net
I got one of these the other day for £27, dunno how many more he has
Hi i am a guy from norway with an 91 dommie. My dealer told me there was a 148 jet in by carb. What jet size should i use? Have an youshimura rs3, pretty open.. Is the dynojet kit still in production? Also wonder how to remove the "thing" on the left cylinder, i guess this is the california...
Well today I gave my Dommi its first run out since fitting a dynojet stage 1 kit. It may help someone else so here is the deferences as I see them.
Starting It now needs a little choke from cold when before it only needed it to start. When returning to a warm bike I just hit the button and it...
I have just got fitted a dynojet kit, needles and jets and k&n filter to the bike, along with the remus can. Any body who says it makes no difference must have sticky brakes. OH MY GOD. it is class. now its not blackbird stuff but I have never red lined in top gear before nor accelerated 50mph +...
Can anyone tell me, real simple loike, what are the benefits of fitting a stage one kit to an AT?
I have just discovered, by venturing into the world of servicing the bike at home, that my bike has a K&N air filter fitted and various websites suggest fitting a stage one kit is a good idea...
I am thinking about spending out on a K & N filter and a Dynojet kit.
2 local bike garages said I shouldnt bother, the reasons being extra fuel use and for the cost no difference in performance. One said what do you expect its only a 750....anyone who says the word ONLY about my bike is asking...
