Afternoon all, as the weather improves your thoughts might move to taking your bike further and farther.
For Solo and lightweight peeps how about a nice Wild Country Zephros 1 Tent (£70 to your UK door)

My sphincter is twitching at the cost of replacement shock !!
The MOT guy offered a rebuild for £100 plus parts cost? Not sure what this could go up to. He's a general MOT guy and races MX...
In 2007 I was lucky enough to find a 1988 XRV650 in Oregon, USA with ~43k km on the clock. I bought it and took it to college with me thinking it'd be a great project bike to work on inmy down time. Welp, turns out university requires time and effort (Mechanical Engineering) and the...

Yes, it is true, I forget about this Forum until I get an email telling me someone has posted to a long forgotten topic. I wondered why that was as I am a little more active on a couple of other biking forums.
I have come to the conclusion that it is an age thing. Most of the contributors...
Sadly, my hoped for ride partner was sidelined this morning with a chest problem, so I had a later start than intended, and went off to Wales, to see if it was still there and to do a few roads I have not been on for many years...!
I kicked off from Telford with a run down the A5 to Shrewsbury...

This June, I point the TA in the direction of the large sewer that drains this sceptic isle (Eurotunnel), and ride blissfully down the fragrant tree-lined roads of France and so to Switzerland for another superb hoilday in biking Nirvana. Previous excursions took place on a ZZR1100, which of...

We left London after...
