Just come back from France where not one Biker wore reflective anything. As I'm going there soon on the bike I was expecting to have to wear reflective jacket or some sort of stripy thing. I thought there was a new law. Does anyone know the rules and if there is a law, do they just ignore it?

Been watching the Dakar coverage on YouTube, and so far the scenery has been blowing me away. But what is happening to Despres? Without Coma as his team mate, and main competitor, I was expecting him to romp it. Currently he's almost half an hour off the lead. Iain

My rear rim cracked and my front rim was showing serious signs of corrosion, so I thought I'd bite the bullet and get both replaced. Took them to Hagon which is up the road (ish) from me and they convinced me that the corrosion on the front rim could probably be polished out. Since there's...

I popped down to my local bike shop today and saw this sweet looking Tenere outside. Fully expecting it to be a customers bike, I asked about it and was told it's actually For Sale. ((I've decided (rightly or wrongly) NOT to put this in the For Sale area, purely because it's not me selling...

After seeing the Vibraction roadbook report in ABR issue 5 I researched a trip that we could do in a week and settled on Roadbook 10 Aragon and Navarra Pyrenees and Bardenas Desert. Over the next few frantic months that soon became weeks and days away the bike was fettled to move the Zumo so...

Change of plan What with that silly sausage eating Kraut mucking up his passport application and not being able to make this year's Northern Germany trip we had a bit of a rethink about where we would go. Yes we all still wanted to go to Plon but it was felt that that would best be left for...

My local Kawasaki centre had open day and test day today and deal and bargains to be had. 1st i test rode the Versys 1000cc and that left me very confused. The styling is tall upright riding position like most trial / dual purpose bikes but they've stuck a straight 4 in it??? if your looking at...

I'm guessing the council are expecting a huge influx of bike accidents over th enext few months going by the previous few years.
