Hello, fellow two-wheelers!
I consider mounting a (double) dash cam on my bike, and I can´t navigate in the jungle - I would rather get tips from experienced people in here. INNOVV seems to be a good choice, but one place it was mentioned that it stops recording for a short period of time now...
I would like to change my rear shock ,preferably something with a little adjustment for passengers but its not a must have .
i was looking at suspension units and they are expensive so i was wondering if any of the more experienced among us could shed some light of what if anything is availlable...
Out on a cold, wet ride today. Nearing home my indicators started playing up - lights come on but don’t flash. Same whether indicating left or right.
Hopefully just a bit of moisture in the flasher unit and will right itself when it dries out.
Anyone here experienced something similar?

Hi, I am preparing a '98 XR600R for a two-week rally across Europe. Can anyone recommend a workshop in UK where they are knowledgeable about this particular bike? I have been to experienced enduro/rally shops but, while they're very good with current bikes, they're struggling with mine.
Many...
So, my insurance is up for renewal in February and Hasting's have written to me to tell me they will no longer insure me. I just called them and was explained the underwriter, Advantage, is no longer insuring bikes for commuting in London.
Seriously WTF! I have been with these guys for two...
The airbox on my RD08 Dommie is holed / cracked, has been since before I got it AFAIK. The hole is currently patched with gaffer tape, which I just replace from time to time when it gets knackered from road-spray.
I did get a replacement airbox on eBay, with a view to swapping them one day...
Forum Members,
Hello and happy holidays.
I am interested in learning of the age or mileage any members may have experienced a water pump failure on their AT. I searched the forum and learned water pumps are not frequently discussed. My 1990 RD04 AT with 78k km is being updated for a long...
My Dommie lives on the street so it hides under an Oxford Stormex cover when not in use. At least three times in the last month the wind has got it and knocked the bike over.
We live on a slight hill so the bike is always parked with the side stand side down hill but because it's quite a tall...
Just recently I've noticed my indicators are taking about 4 seconds to light up from switching them on:mad: has anyone else experienced this, and how do I solve it please, thanks in advance
News reports of desperate fellows, intent upon getting across the water to the Uk, attempting to gain access to cars, vans and trucks that are queuing for the ferry at Calais.
During their approach to the Calais ferry/tunnel terminals, have any returning motorcyclists experienced problems with...
I nearly bought a Transalp when they first came out. But didn't. Loved the look of it though. Now, I've just bought a 2004 Transalp. Question: does old style bodywork from the original fit a 2004 or has the frame changed as well as the bodywork on the later ones. It's not such a stupid question...
Question for the more experienced folks here.
How close are these two engines? Obviously, there would be some fabrication involved, but weight savings, power gains and fuel injection!!!!!
Maybe someone has tried it?
Just a thought, not something I've really considered, but interested in a...
Hi, I have a Transalp 650 (UK 07 Plate) and am a bit concerned about what appears to be an oil leak. I have had a look and it appears to be from front face of the front cylinder. Is this something that other owners have experienced? The valve clearances were done about 8k miles ago. Total...
looked at 650 , think it would suit her better as lighter 191kg v 215kg but second hand prices for 650,s vary so much 2002 ...2350pounds? I saw advertised to 2006 high milers for 2700 pounds. Have seen low miler 2008 xv700 for 3495 pounds would appreciate views of experienced members primarily...
As the title says my newly acquired Dominator has very loose levers as in vertical movement as if there are washers missing to tighten them up!
Has anyone experienced this? If so what is the fix new levers/spacers to stop them being loose?
Thanks
Ian
Hello all.
I've owned this bike since new and have 45,000 km up so far.
I love it and am pleased with it's ease of use and reliability, with one exception.
About twice a year on average, and this has been going on ever since new,- the bike will not start. The motor spins over ok but will only...
Good morning all!
I got the pistons out of my forward brake caliper today, and was a little surprised to find that the outer seals for the pistons were gone.
The inner ones were not great either, but in the groove for the outer ones there was only dirt and what I can only assume is remnants of...
I don't know if any of you guys have an IMS tank fitted or experienced the above, if you have heres a solution.
IMS Tank being hit by clamps
I'd asked the question over on ADV, but despite the advice given I.E. try adjusting the hardware, make sure that the tank sits onto the spine correctly...
Hello everyone.
I tried to adjust the idle speed on my RD03 the other day and experienced the plastic adjustment knob was rotating on the screw that was stuck. I applied som WD-40 to no avail but got an idea that maybe the screw itself has some kind of thread for a screwdriver of some sort...
