Anyone know where I can get a set of bolts and screws for my fairing? '87 Transalp 600 with original fairing? I have found this one online, but not sure it will fit my early bike? https://www.pro-bolt.com/aluminium-fairing-kit-honda-xl600-vr-vx-transalp.html Thanks!

Hi I had the revs go this morning and power drop - previous owner had bought a spare cdi but hadn't installed it and stupid me - I've left it at home. I have noted that the threads I read on this issue seem to discuss the CDIs being under the seat - mine are in the battery box on the left hand...

I needed some new grommets for my bash plate, and while another member here kindly sent me some along with a sprocket cover I bought from him I managed to destroy them by spraying them with stuff to try to soften up the rubber a bit (they were on their way out anyway). Undeterred and still...

My baby is running a little rough(can't pin it down, just doesn't feel 'right') so planned to get down to adjusting tappets, checking plugs, get the carbs balanced etc...easy enough I thought... Got everything prepared, including the ipad set up for the music:p Got 2 of the fairing bolts out...

Bought a kit from Polo in Germany, and finally got round to fitting it today... The first question was where to fit it, and then how to wire it through from the battery. On the RD07 it's possible to run the wires along the frame under the tank and up to the 'cockpit' area. Undo the bolts...

Anyone know of a source for replacement stainless fairing bolts etc for the 650 TA? Tastynuts do them for the 600 and 700TA, but the 650 seems to have flown under their radar. Coudn't see any 650 specific bolt kits on Ebay either.

After the Vara being written off the other week I now have a few bits and bobs that I managed to salvage. There will be some other stuff to follow also. THESE ARE PARTS FROM A CARBED VARADERO, UNLESS SPECIFIED I DO NOT KNOW WHETHER THESE DO OR DO NOT FIT THE FI VARADERO. PLEASE DO YOUR OWN...

Here goes. Seeing that I've been asked a couple of times what I'm planning to do with my Vara in order to make it look less like an old man's bike, here it is! You must all remember the old @ colour scheme, right?. Well, I'm planning on keeping to the spirit of the concept, but rather I'm...
