Hi does anyone know how to repair the mileometer on my 98 Transalp, the speedo works perfectly but
the mileometer doesn't. I have replaced the complete instrument panel with one I bought off e bay but
that one doesn't work either. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
I've had my AT RD07A for a couple of months now and occasionally it stalls whilst riding. I can usually get it going again after a couple of minutes. This happens about every 100 miles or so. I've been advised that it might be a faulty fuel cut off relay rather than the pump itself...

Hi guys, bit of help please.
The ignition switch is faulty on my 1996 RD08 Dominator so I have removed it ready to get a replacement but..
It only has 2 wires from the switch to the connector and the connector is round! All the replacement switches advertised have 3 or 5 wires and are square...
I've a non working speedo and replaced both the cable and the white plastic gear, as mine was worn, but still no action.
Had a look at all the other threads but little about what could be faulty on the clocks end if it is that. The needle appears to be fine that screws into the back of the...
Hi All, does anyone know if I need to replace a faulty CDI with the exact number replacement as I am struggling to find one with the same numbers as on the faulty one, I can find one that has the MS8 but not the CI558 , I have seen a CI553 but am not sure if that is close enough.Cheers
On my 1998 Transalp the brakes on the front, left side are sticking. The right caliper is fine, but if I give the wheel a push it stops in an instant due too the left caliper. I have replaced the caliper pistons and the rubber seals for the pistons, but that hasn't done any good.
I am in...
can anybody explain how auto decomp works on XR600R '92 in details? Is oil pressure involved in it's work?
Can be faulty decomp the reason of not starting engine?
How soft should be decompressor cam spring? It feels really soft.
If all mechanism looks quite ok, no excessive wearing visible...
I was trying to remove the tank yesterday and the vacuum petcock was faulty and didn't turn off the petrol flow and fuel p*ssed all over the garage floor (and me!). Are these prone to faults? Should I get a new one or replace with a conventional valve?
Thanks ........ Steve

This morning I have spoken to the Cornwall Tourist Board - 'Visit Cornwall' explaining our concerns over the very poor treatment and service which we received and they recommend that a letter is sent to the management of the Lands End Hotel (Manager is Miss Philippa Brown) with a copy to the...
Saw this a while ago on eBay.
Just posted into another thread, but sorta thought it may deserve a topic of it's own.
Nothing to do with me, I don't have a Tripmaster, but thought it may help one of you poor souls out there...
My right front indicator does not work. It's not the bulb. The clicker thing still makes the back one flash at twice the speed.
Is it a break in the wire or the regulator thingy.... if I knew where that was anyway.
I'm expecting the answer to be bleeding obvious. But my bike maintenance...
