I bought a XR650R (thicker) 15T front sprocket, then I found out that on my FMX front sprocket is 14T. Which is original? 14T or 15T?
BTW I found on the INTERNET that people are fitting XR650R front sprocket on XR650L to prevent it from cutting into sprocket splines. Please note that XR650L and...
After about 3 years, I'm about to kick off the build of my SLR650 scrambler/tracker.
I'm looking to get a 17" front wheel & am looking at fitting a 120/70/17 up front with 150/70/17 rear Continental TKC80's.
Now after some research, I'm not sure if these will fit on the current wheel...

Does anyone out there have any experience of fitting a Keihin FCR41 Flat Slide Carb to a Dominator? I was told by a carb specialist that this would be an improvement and a little more power.
If so, how hard is it and what would I have to do .?
Thanks in advance
Fuel pump playing up again, going to swap the points but would like to pick up a spare. RD03 pumps don't seem to be available but pumps for later models are.
There looks to be quite a difference in list price which makes me wonder if they are very different, any one tried fitting a later OE...
I'm in the process of changing the front sprocket on my RD07a. I removed the sprocket cover and then the old sprocket. I was merrily cleaning all the old crud away before fitting the new one when this little fella dropped out. I have no idea where it goes so any help would be...
I would like to customise my FX650 and wonder if anyone has fitted alloy 3 spoke wheels [like those on a Suzuki GS500] to their Honda. If this is a doable how complex is it or is there an easy way of fitting wheels from another bike which need little modification. Any photos would be helpful.
My Rear wheel of my 88 RD03 has serious rim rot and the bike won't get through an MOT. I've been trying to source a new rear wheel but had no luck. I have found a rear wheel from a 1998 model and wondering if it would fit? Thought I'd ask hear for advice.
My other route is to get a...
Does anyone know how to remove the lower triple clamp from a set of ktm 950 forks? I have the bearings off but the steering tube is stuck solid and my finger cant't take another whack with the lump hammer. Also when I get this off how do I fit the adaptor back in?
Title says it all really. Looking at my 450X with standard wheel and enduro tyre, there's not a lot of clearance between the tyre and the chain. Thinking about fitting supermoto wheels and wondered if the wider tyres run into chain clearance issues. Anyone done this and can comment?
Made a boo boo and bought a tubeless rear tyre.
I've always fitted my own but they've all been tubed tyres.
This one is especially ridged and i reckon could be a bit of a bugger to get on.
Anyone with any experience of fitting tubeless tyres ?
As the title suggests, I am toying with the idea of altering my Varadero by fitting a different petrol tank from a VTR, has anyone done this or used a tank from a different bike? If so how difficult and what was required? All replies welcome:thumbup:
My RD 4 seems to be running a little lean after i have installed a hi-flo filter and Arrow exhaust. I am thinking of fitting dynojets stage 1 kit, but is it worth the money?
The Arrow is fittet with a sligtly opened-up db-killer.
I would like to change my rear shock ,preferably something with a little adjustment for passengers but its not a must have .
i was looking at suspension units and they are expensive so i was wondering if any of the more experienced among us could shed some light of what if anything is availlable...

This is a bit sad really,,,, given that I've been riding bikes for 32 years,,,,, but I need advice on what chain to buy.
In my defence, the last time I bought a chain was for my Fizz in 1976,,,, and then I had to save up for the cheapest one I could find,,,,
My 250G5 didn't need one in the year...
