Hi all, really struggling to find a set of exhaust flanges and collars for my XL500s, have however found a set for the XBR500, does anybody know if they will fit my XL, don't mind making any slight modifications.
My AT silencer flange pipe is so rusted, that it almost fell off when I started to dismantle it.
Does anyone know a metal workshop in London to cut off rusted part and weld a new flange to the silencer?

The output shaft oil seal is leaking like a leaky thing and it's embarassing to
park next to a Matchless or AJS and leave a bigger pool of oil than they do!
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace this seal without taking the engine

Not sure how many members here have airheads but I've seen a few oilheads on the sig lines. For those of you who own one or have rode a gs you know how addicting the smooth shaft drive can be. The airhead comes with a price as they have issues with the tranny bearings, drive shaft u joint...
