Is this a known issue with the AT? Noticed a puddle on my garage floor, been dreading finding out the cause but it just seems to be the rubber gasket.
From what I can see it looks fine though and I'm confused as to why a fairly durable looking gasket could just fail suddenly.
Best pic I...

Stopped at the garage to buy some beer and noticed coolant dripping onto the floor. Got home and took bash plate off and have traced the leak to the underside of the radiator. It seems to be bubbling out of the bottom. I will take the rad off and see if it's either corroded through or whether...

I see there are two basic designs.
Scissor type where the table rises vertically
or ones where the table moves backwards as it goes up.
Anybody got any idea if one type is inherently more stable than the other or is it simply down to the size of the base on the garage floor?
I was trying to remove the tank yesterday and the vacuum petcock was faulty and didn't turn off the petrol flow and fuel p*ssed all over the garage floor (and me!). Are these prone to faults? Should I get a new one or replace with a conventional valve?
Thanks ........ Steve
