I would like to change my rear shock ,preferably something with a little adjustment for passengers but its not a must have .
i was looking at suspension units and they are expensive so i was wondering if any of the more experienced among us could shed some light of what if anything is availlable...
Could anyone show a pic of the rear footpeg springs ? Mine for some untold reason are missing, i am reluctant to shell out for new pegs for the sake of a couple of springs but have no idea what they look like so cant start a search. Its an 89 model
Hi, this may have been covered but I see on ebay that a company do a pretty decent inlay for the speedo/dials for the RD04 anyone ever split these dials open to replace them? Could really do with swapping the KPH to MPH and the dials are faded pretty badly.
any advice would be greatly...
Hi lads!
I've started to notice a slight knocking on the right footpeg when in 4th gear. Maybe 2-4 knocks pr second. It's very weak or non-existant in lower gears. It goes away completely if I pull the clutch very lightly.
Anyone knows what this might be?
Cheers!

Hi All,

Gear pedal pivot bolt sheered this morn, on the M60 - which was nice! I changed gear by hand and limped the last couple of miles
Anyway, Hunts had one and every bolt on the hanger cracked immediately making removal of the snapped stud a doddle. It literally turned itself out, drilling from...

Hi - after an "off" on Saturday my treasured AT needs a bit of fettling. It's mostly bolt on bits - screen, footpeg, mirrors etc however I have bent the front subframe that holds the lights and clicks etc.
Any one got a spare straight one for sale or tips on straightening the old one. I have...
Hi all,
Kind of thought I should get some footpeg rubbers to reduce the vibrations, i dont think these are original Alp footpegs- - can anyone tell?
And there seems to be a screw hole in the centre to add the rubbers, any thoughts? I cant see a brand name on the pegs, so makes life tricky to...
got a pair of very good condition Alpine stars tech 7 for sale they are hardly used abd i won't be competition riding anymore so they are up for sale
This is the only fault with them ans is only cosmetic not structural. My foot slipped off the kick starter and the teeth on the footpeg...
I've lost these somewhere in the mess of parts at my house, I need the two large bolts which hold the foot pegs and side stand to the frame, anyone have these?
Thanks in advance.
It's an obscure part but it bolted to the left rear footpeg perch and frame. It consists of a handle and a pair of clamps. The idea is this handle will help you hoist your TA onto its centerstand. I think the handle was the same for all 600cc bikes.
The handle part number is 5025-MS6-620ZA...
Having a clear out and found these, they are from my old (A plate) XL600R, set of rear pegs in solid if a little tatty (and red) state.
If you need to bolt a set on at MoT time these will do just fine (need own mounting bolts)
£15 inc postage or £10 and pick em up from me in Sunny Devon.
