A strange request I know, but does anyone have any old front brake discs for an RD04 lying around?
I’m upcycling an unserviceable front wheel into a clock for my garage and I think it’ll look better with a disc on it.
Happy to pay for postage.

Hi everybody, I am rebuilding front brakes and I need to change two out of four pistons, but I have trouble finding them in online shops where I usually get my stuff (german and austrian shops).
Some have it for older models, some say that it is the same piston for older and newer models (I...
This is a long shot but I figured I would give it a shot. I have a 1996 transalp in the blue/navy colour combo.
I have badly damaged my front cowl and offside front side panel.
Would anyone happen to have any fairings in this colour combo that they can sell?
If not I will have to suck...
I don't see how this makes sense ... but let me ask!
After installing kitpeds raiser kit (+6cm front and back) & removing db killer, my clutch slips.
Before I had no issue whatsoever (RD04 from 1992 with 87000km). I checked for free play on the clutch lever and there is more than...
My "front-end" saga continues with the discovery of seized brake caliper pistons and brittle caliper piston seals (that have been in there since 2001)
Having never done this before.....Is this piston good for re-use? It seems to slide in and out of the bore ok, but looks a bit pitted/scored?
I have a set of headers that were sold to me as for a 600. they came as a complete exhaust with the standard muffler. But the front pipe is clearly set for a 650. However there is no catalytic converter. Am I right after research that they will be from the very early 650 before 1992?. Please...
How much, all in would a set of USD forks cost, inc wheel, disc caliper etc off a KTM640 supermoto/enduro and everything I need to fit it to my bike (RD04) and what could I get for my original forks, etc? Basically swap out the whole front end - labour aside - wopuld I break even?
Someone helpfully drove into me this week, they hit the very front of front wheel (from the side)
i have slackened off the top and middle yokes, removed the fork brace and mudguard, and bashed the wheel against a lampost but I can't get it straight/true
this photo was taken with the wheel...
I've seen multiple people on this forum fit an AT sumpguard on their 650 Transalp's. But how? :o I don't think the mounting points line up. The AT one has 2 in the front instead of the TA's 1... I found a user named Tramp talking about a recent post he made where he explained it but i can't seem...
Just asking if anybody has experience with JT’s rubber front sprocket on the XRV?
We all know why many use the OE Honda front sprocket but since they cost about €30-35 and the JT cost about €15-20 it could be just as good..
Just for reference the JT sprocket is JTF296-16RB.
Sorry if this has already been discussed.
I need to fit new front and rear tyres on my '88 Transalp. The Honda Manual says the rear tyres should be 120/90-17 on the rear and 90/90-21 on the front. However, most of the sites I've looked at for buying new tyres seem to think I should get...
