Does anyone have any experience removing the right-side footrest hanger from an FX650 (same parts - I think - as the SLR)? I'm trying to get the clutch cover off to check the strainer mesh in the oil pipe and the footrest hanger needs to come off first. I'm using the SLR manual as there isn't...
I would like to customise my FX650 and wonder if anyone has fitted alloy 3 spoke wheels [like those on a Suzuki GS500] to their Honda. If this is a doable how complex is it or is there an easy way of fitting wheels from another bike which need little modification. Any photos would be helpful.
Hi Folks, Would anyone happen to have a spare front wheel spindle they would like to off load? My Dommi one has a slight bend to it. I believe the FX and SLR (and some other honda models) has the same spindle. Thanks Jim
I want to save some coin, and instead of acquiring specific FX650 centre stand for my needs I am considering buying FMX650 centre stand for 1/3 cheaper instead. Anyone having any experience or comment on this ?

There are looms available from the usual places (i.e. ebay) but...
I've broken 2 bikes for my project and basically used the engine, swingarm, electrics and wheels from each one, so have quite a few parts spare if anyone is interested? One came with a new hagon rear shock too!
Hi. I bought a 2002 Honda fx650 vigor. The piston was knackered. So I got a new barrel and piston (2nd hand) and removed all the old piston from the engine. It has 75-80psi on compression. And the valves have been set to 10mm? What ever it is in the Haynes manual. It semi fires. Goes to around...
