Would any one have any spare white plastic sleeves that the for gaitors fit on for a xr 400 and the speedo cable plastic black clamp, been watching ebay for a while nothing seems to be coming up.
so anybody who hasn't had a good look at theirs in a while, check it out as mine were really furry and corroded. Needs a firm (not wire) brush to clean away the crud and then some paint. I have fitted some small fork guards like the Triumphs have - they look good, however, I reckon my gaitors...

I've got my bike sitting up in the air with the front wheel removed to fix the speedo drive (See my thread in Bike Tech).
My gaitors are split and I was wondering how hard a job it is to replace them...I've got a Haynes but that only describes their removal as part of a complete fork...
I enter 'black fork gaitors' into the search function and come up with 849 matches which have absolutely nothing to do with this subject...............am I missing something..........aside from the odd few brain cells??
