In the box of parts that came with the '89 NX650 that I just bought, I found the metal plate/sticker that shows the VIN, tire pressure info, model year, etc. Where does this thing belong on the bike? I want to glue it back on, but I can't find it on parts diagrams.

Im getting a wheel respoked for my @ and want to use the best rim tape so I have looked on ebay and it looks very thin. I have some used pieces of rubber membrane I used to waterproof a roof and it was way more expensive than I thought and very good quality. Will this be better to use than £1.99...

For all you people out there that suffer with arse ache but don't have the dosh for expensive fixes I just had a brainwave, what's needed and what you get when you buy them is a air filed bladder, sooooo how about using ( wait for it) a Whoopie cushion. Oh lordy, why did I even bother...... Fitted the heated grips, and used hairspray as glue as usual, all good. Came back to garage after a couple of hours, noticed the throttle grip had not set (other side great), So, pulled grip off only to find the throttle 'sheath' now wont snap back! It...

I managed to break the glue seal on my heated grips and need to reglue the throttle grip. Will super glue do? Is it strong enough these days? i remember when coming within 10 yards of a tube and your fingers were glued together but that was thirty years ago. If not what is the best glue I can...

Hi, I decided I'm gonna repair my TA600's seat, I mean replace the cover. When I removed the old cover I saw the foam completely came off the plastic plate (or whatever its name). Could you recommend me some kind of glue to fix this problem? As I know some of the glues can damage the foam, so I...

When my bike went over the plastics got damaged - the holes in the tank panels were broken and I can no longer fix the rubber collared nuts/bolts together. I can get a strip of plastic glued to the panel to re drill the holes but I am not sure which glue to use ... two part epoxy stuff? Fibre...

Hi Guys, Okay, excuse the ignorance of this question, just trying different avenues. I've never used a glue gun, it's just that they're cheap. Would a glue gun work to fix a strengthening piece behind a plastic panel which has a split, or should I just stick to plastic welding? Cheers for any...

Hi I've rebuilt my original at and am in the final stages; replacing the decals. Problem is that having removed the original stickers, I've been left with a thick gunge on the fairings that seems to be impervious to all attempts to remove it. I've tried anything that's been suggested but nothing...
