    Hi fellow riders, just signed up for this forum. Currently on a long trip - so far from Denmark to Cambodia :) I need to changed oil again, but are not sure if this oil is ok. In the manuals it says API grade E ,F or G. This one is API grade SL - is that ok? I dont have a lot of choices here...

    The AT is feeling rather loose on the frot end so im going to change the fork oil. So im going to use a thicker grade ... So do you add X amount or X amount of mm from the top of the fork leg ?

    Hi all, I have to change engine oil, found this product: Castrol Power1 4T 10W-40. The description says it has API grade SJ, but the Haynes manual recommends SE, SF, or SG graded oils. I hav no clue, what is the difference :) Is this oil safe to my bike (XL600V '94)? Thanks in advance.

    Just on with fitting the front brake braided hose up grade...tis the two hose set up (Race)... Has anybody done this, can post a pic of the route the lines took/ where secured ?...on there @t...(mines a rd7 ) Much appriciated if ya could....

    Hi all, i'm going to replace the bushes and oil in my forks as there is play in them. Whilst i was in halfords getting my engine oil i bought some fork oil as specified in thier reference book. It is castrol semi synthetic. Is this correct ?? Also how many cc's of oil in each leg. The haynes...

    Hello Going to fit a set of new springs (progressive) on my '03 vara. Rear Shock to come but the front springs are in the garage so I really should fit them. Question. What is the oil grade used? Has anyone changed the grade in the forks - if so how did it go?

    hi, im having problems with my cog box on the bike, the clutch overheated and i lost the clutch ona recent ride and im also having problems goin up the box when in a hurry, or when the engines hot? could this be down to the symthetic oil i put it in when i serviced it? any ideas or tips...
