  1. Barkbusters limiting steering movement - RD04

    Africa Twin
Hi, mt AT (Catweasel's) has barkbusters and they limit the steering. They hit the fairing before end of the normal range of movement and I think they are why my steering lock won't engage. Any tips before I start grinding bits away? Cheers, Stewart.

  3. FCR-MX Throttle position sensor cover

    Dominator / FMX
So I got hold of an FCR-MX 40mm carb from a CRF250R. I am slowly working my way towards getting it to fit right without grinding off the decellerator cable housing or cutting the frame. I am an intake boot off of an FX650. It fits but still need to check it out. In the meanwhile I made a...
  4. Noise from front end

    Africa Twin
Hi all, Just noticed a strange noise from the front end on low speed's not a grinding noise of worn pads on dics, to me it's sounds more of a cable or mudguard rub type of noise. It does'nt do it all the time and seems to appear more from the forks compressing rather than the brakes. Disc's...
  5. Centre Stand ?

    Transalp
I got a bog standard rear Paddock Stand last week but when I used it at the weekend the damn thing opened up and as I was trying to get it off the bloody bike fell over ! Luckily the Crash Bars saved any problems but it made me very suspicious of using the stand again. So I'm looking at...
  6. 650 case saver

    Transalp
Anyone who may have fitted a 16t sprocket to their 650 did you get any problem with the case saver. I have fitted a genuine RD03 sprocket and have given the case saver a bit of a grinding down to clear the larger cog but Ive gone as much as I want to and it still sounds pretty noisy. Wonder if I...

Hiya, About three weeks ago, my brake light was staying on continuously, tried to loosen up the adjustment but couldn't get it right. Brought it to a garage, where the guy disasembled the brake pedal, cleaned it, hput some grease on it put everything back together, and off i went, happy out...
  10. Grinding and shaking!

    Transalp
Something is really wrong! I've experienced some grinding and scraping which I thought was the chain but apparently no scrape marks on it. Now bike is shaking dangerously particularly at slower speeds as if the back wheel is badly buckled or loose and about to fall off! Any ideas?

  12. Grinding noise when decelerating

    Africa Twin
Hi Guys My beloved AT isn't sounding too good. I've noticed a "grinding" noise coming from "somewhere" in the front of the bike. It is more noticable when I release the throttle and the engine is slowing down on compression and isn't so loud when I accelerate again. It's noticable in 1st, 2nd...
