I have listed for sale my 1990 NX650L Dominator on the For Sale/Wanted forum if anyone is interested.
Have a look - I am sure that somebody must need a new project!
Unfortunately the Dominator is now too big for me - something to do with age (mine, not the bike's).
I have therefore bought a...

“So, around your house you’ve probably got those handy liquid soap dispensers, the ones with the little push pump on the top. Well don’t throw them away when finished because that pump is absolutely perfect to bleed brakes with.
Simply attach a tube to the bleed nipple...
I am currently drafting auxiliary aluminum fuel tanks for my RD07. On the left side, the mosfet regulator can easily be moved inside the toolbox under the seat. What about the coolant reservoir? Has anyone found a different location? It can't be moved to where the RD03 coolant tank sits because...

Has anyone out there got an old but serviceable CR250 they're prepared to sell as a winter hack? Anything considered with/without MOT and Tax, but must be running and without major faults. Up to £1000 max.
Hoping there is someone who can oblige. Thanks

Hi all can anyone help. I am after a cheep fix for my transalp 600v 1993. The rear wheel on my much loved winter hack is badly corroded and i am looking to replace it but they are like rocking horse poo to find. Does anyone know if a wheel of any other bikes fit without to much messing around...
I've been watching this with interest, but its too far away for me.
I've ridden a couple of these (and a Grand Canyon) when one of my bikes was being serviced in the past, and they go quite well, and are pretty light. My only bad memory was the power of the headlamp, but its an easy upgrade...
Bought a seat back rest from Silvers, and had a proper bodge getting it to fit my Givi E36..
The back pad is too long, so I had to slice 2cm off the bottom(in fact more would've been better, and I might well haul it off and hack it again). Problem is that the foam is inside and the outer...
need some advice on a cheap bike to use as a hack for few months as my Vara is out of action :(
my work means i have a bit of travel so need something that can handle motorways
even a big scooter would do me
any ideas people?
cheaper the better!!!!
And whilst out on the run the front brake calliper fell off - the shop had failed to tighten the bolts - best not reflect on the what ifs.... :)
Anyway got me thinking - what other bike test ride horror stories do people have?
Can someone with vast motorcycling experience please explain to me why the TA is described as "a good all year bike", " a good all rounder" and particularly " a winter hack?".
Why is the TA described as this - are other bikes not these things?
