I have a 2009 XL700 Transalp which I absolutely love. I do about 15k miles a year, in all kinds of weather (inc snow). All year round. The weather here in England can get Very cold. It's got the original plastic hand guards fitted and I've got the Honda heated grips. I want to also fit 'Bar...

Now sold :) Came with the XT600E I bought off my son, about half a winters use. In good condition with no loose stitching that affected another set I had. I dont think these muffs fitted over the Yam handguards but they are big and roomy and you may get them over but they are designed to be...

23/03/13 between 0030 0600 some one stole my XR 400 R off my front drive near Dorking in Surrey it was under a cover and locked to a tree. I am gutted; this bike is not worth a fortune in parts or to sell on as a whole .To me it was worth everything I loved this little bike and had spent time...

As the title says, I have a brand new, still in the packaging set of Oxford Handlebar Muffs (oooer ). I had a pair of these on my 'Alp, and they allowed me to use summer gloves all year round. This set was for Miss Ravens bike but she sold it before these got fitted. They cost £30...

Well, despite the ... unusual ... working conditions: and the odd minor set-back: with a bit of a creative approach to what you can use where on a bike (I don't see why you can't use gaffa tape instead of paint): and a little bit of a bodge here and there: My old Ural is now...

Having seen the various handlebar muffs fitted to bikes at this weekend's Welsh Invasion I rather fancy a pair of the Tocano 319's as fitted to MoM's GS. I see they are available at a decent price via a member of the UKGSer forum. Is anyone UKGser subscribed prepared to do me a favour and...

Hello i fitted some handlebar muffs to Tizer but found that with the hand protectors the muffs didn't fit right and were tight around the controls, particularly on the left side causing problems with the indicator switch and full beam switch! to fix the problem i undid the stitching on the...

After 24 years of all year round riding I've finally fitted heated handlebar grips. Why didn't I fit them before? My major gripe with winter riding was always cold hands, putting the gloves on the radiator at home to give them a bit of warmth at the beginning of the journey, using inner gloves...

Ever wondered what to do with that old lid's visor? (Fitted to a mint ZX10!!) I know courier bikes can be a bit dodgy but this is something else.. Interesting handlebar muffs - plastic oil containers! At least they're definitely windproof....
