Someone helpfully drove into me this week, they hit the very front of front wheel (from the side)
i have slackened off the top and middle yokes, removed the fork brace and mudguard, and bashed the wheel against a lampost but I can't get it straight/true
this photo was taken with the wheel...

mt AT (Catweasel's) has barkbusters and they limit the steering. They hit the fairing before end of the normal range of movement and I think they are why my steering lock won't engage. Any tips before I start grinding bits away?
Just dropped my AT today at slow rolling speed and thanks to those Rugged Road crash bars any serious damage was prevented.
But the right one took a substantial hit and it absorbed all the force which resulted in it being slightly bent inwards.
Is it possible to bend it back?
I will post some...
Xl600v Ok after about 1 hr of steady riding my water temp rises, sits at about 80 degrees upon hitting traffic after this it will rise up to 105 degrees then fan comes in and lowers temp.
My question are....
1. Is this normal?
2. Do your fans come on?
3. What temp does your alp run at?
I have cracked the crankcase cover (rhs) and clutch case cover after hitting a rock. Does any know if the crankcase cove from a CRF250R will fit on the X?? It's a 2005 model.
They do look very similar but the Honda part numbers differ somewhat.
Hello, New to the forum! I would like to know if the handlebars of a Varadero 125(2001-2006) are the same as the handlebars of a XL650V TA? The bars on my Varadero are bent and I can get a good deal on a TA handlebars.I'm worried that they might be too big and hit the plastics or the tank at...
Heads up before I hit the Bay with'em.

All three bikes are in prime condition and want...
Well I'm on my last day off before the next years worth of grind starts. Been an eventful year 2014. Changed employers, other personal stuff that's gone on and these bouts of sickness I just can't seem to shake off.
I'm hoping 2015 will be a good year, but the back to work blues have hit hard.
I'm in the process of replacing the speedo plastic gear thingy and have hit a bit of a problem. The old isn't in too bad a condition and slides in and out of the housing no problem but the new one slides in so far (I've given it a good greasing) then feels slightly stiff. I'm...
Riding today did 120 mile round trip and everything was great. Only thing I need to check is if it is about right that I had to go to reserve at around 115 miles from a full tank. It was mainly motorway riding.
Mine is a 1995 with the 16l tank.
How much should you expect from a...
My oversized screen that was on my 87 Transalp when I got it hit the mirrors on full lock, so for the MOT I 'modified' an old stock ZZR1100 screen, by chopping it in half :D ended up with a short sporty screen.
Saw this on the news 20 mins ago, what a traggic accident. Appears an Augusta 109 hit a roof crane. Nothing confirmed yet appears low level fog / mist are the cause and question over whether the Nav lights were on, on the roof of the crane t know if the pilot saw it.
Feel sorry for the pilot and...
Like it or loath it undoubtedly the hit advert of last Christmas was that from John Lewis featuring a wee boy barely able to wait for Christmas day to arrive so he could give his presents and all set to a Smiths classic song.
This years one is due to be aired for the first time tomorrow and it...
