Very short notice and not a dedicated XRV event, mainly cos most of the old in-mates of XRV populate Bigtraillie, but this event is running this coming weekend . . . .
Some attendees may even be on Honda motorcycles :D...
I have an RD04 from 1990 with 67000kms on the clock. The last couple of days I have started to notice a scratching sound from the engine when I pull the clutch and let I roll to a traffic light or something.
Everything sounds perfect in neutral and when driving that's why I am worried...
I really love the looks of the AT, but to me the rear light and plastic protector don't do the bike justice. So I relocated the rear light to sit flush with the fairing and removed the plastic protector (I know, not practical, but hey, stripe of dirt on the back adds to my image...)
I'm a new member from France (in Auvergne, in the center of the country)
First of all, I want to apologize for my poor english (kind of a french tradition, I think...)
I ride a 1988 gold honda dominator, I keep it as a "collector".

I bought one for my 750AT and it jacked the rear up by 3". Nice shock but the seat is high now.
Is the Transalp YSS the same deal ?

Honda XL125 points conversion to later CDI?
I notice that the engine cover is different and of course the head.
Can the magneto/cover and flywheel be made to fit ?
Swap heads and thats about it.
Anyone done this?
I finally ordered and recieved my new Arrow PD exhaust. Looking forward to getting it installed but Curious about what I call exhaust tape that is very similar to putty sort of. Does anyone use it over here? I notice a lot of folks using exhaust paste but that looks to be a messy setup. Any...
I've found a nice NX250, 1988 near me. Tempting even with the tiny wheels (16 inch). Is there a forum where convos about it might be found? It's also sold worldwide as the AX-1 and listed occasionally in the US as a Dominator... and I'm in the US. Thanks for any leads... t
