Sorry! I have asked this before. I try to erase this post :-) Hi Since the RD04 handlebarswitces is impossible to get from new, I wonder if the RD07 switches fits on the RD04. Anyone have tried this? Best Dan

Hi Since it´s impossible to get new switches to my RD04, i´m curious if i can fit RD07-switches on it. All the best Dan

Hi Yes it´s broken. And it seems like all other RD04 1991 have the same problem :-) Anyway is it impossible to find a new or used. My question: Is there another compatible footrest out there. Maybe from Transalp or what do i know. Very best Dan

I sweared over and over last night when I reinstalled the RD07's collector. I tried fitting them using the copper rings and it was impossible. The collector would always be crooked. I tried half a dozen ways without success... I finally decided to reinstall it without the crush copper rings...

Hello lads. So today I found that my RD07 has a new trick up her sleeve. Cruising to a stop in first gear and then wanting to tap up into neutral is impossible. The gearlever feels well and truly welded into first gear. Cut the engine and she slides into N like butter. Am I missing something...
  6. Transalp
Hi, I posted this in for sale/wanted too. Does anybody have an old seat or seat pan? I have a bike stored in Ireland, but I'm in California, it's impossible to find any parts newer than '89 over here and I want to have a nice newly covered (comfortable!) seat for this summer. Thanks!

Hey All, Just a shout out to the amazing crew at Rugged roads. They truly are an amazing support to those of us who live on the outer edges of the world with our Africa Twins. Getting parts here in Uganda is impossible but Jonathan and his team always come through. I can't thank them enough...

Hi, don't know where to find this. Impossible to find on the web. Anyone have or know where to get the short link for the MRAx- screen flap? mine only came with the long arm link, thought it would come with both, but obviously not, and I am looking for the short /no arm link.

i'm about to start my 91 Dominator project.. but it seems that getting the original plastic parts for the Dommie is quite impossible/pricey if i want to restore it to its original condition. is there any mods using other maker parts like yamaha, suzuki for the Dommie? if yes, i would like to try...

Bump Starting that is...... I've never needed to bumpstart the beast but I've tried it a couple of times to see how easy/hard it was. I found it impossible. I once rolled down a hill with it and tried but also no luck. One day I might have to. Has anyone done this successfully?

Hi, do the airbox tubes that fit onto the carbs shrink over time? When I took the airbox off during a recent service it was nigh on impossible to get the collars back over the carbs - it was like they were about 1/4 inch too short.... Can they be restored or do I need new ones?

My daughter's homework comprised two sentences which she was to punctuate in order to give different results. They were; A woman without her man is hopeless and Pardon impossible. To be sent to Siberia (apparently written by Tzar Alexander III as a death sentence) Can you do it...

I have thought for ages about how I could further improve the looks of my @. All I managed was to fit black Transalp brushguards which doesnt really count as a major change. I am forced to conclude that the @ is perfect to look at so I had better just get on and polish it. :shaking2: I...
