Do i really need to change the 3 of them same time ? this is bit expensive for me due to shipping.
hi can any one tell me where i can get the ceals for the linked brakes on the front wheel the one that makes the back brake work

Halo (after long time) :D
A strange thing is happening on my front brakes. At very slow speed,(walk) or right before i stop the bike, front brake starts to vibrate in high frekvency (not like disc is bended - bent?). You can hear RRRRRRRRR and whole bike vibrates. Its like friction is doing it...
Right, there's been some interest in this and I'm keen to give it a new home, as lovely as it is. Apart from the fairing mark on the reservoir it's in great condition.
Here's the deal. The best offer over £295 secures this lovely bit of kit - it is also linked in on the HUBB (I'll give it to...
There seems to be a bit of a consensus that ABS is a "bad thing" when riding off-road but I have to admit can't really understand why. Now I know there may be times when you may wish to lock up the back wheel if going down hill covered in loose stuff and build up a wedge of muck in-front of it...
I'm after a set (front and back) of wheels for a XRV750. Any year after 1993 will do, and I'm not too worried about the condition of the rims, spokes, brake discs, bearings, etc., although obviously price will be linked to condition. I'm also prepared to collect, within reason!
Reply here, or...
Just woken up after a disasterous first ride in ages. Been tidying up my @T for months and after much fiddling finally managed to get my headlights sorted and scottoiler fitted (last things on my list) a few days ago so at 2:30am thismorning decided to go for a ride when there was no traffic...
Having just read the thread by chronyx,
I remembered seeing a web site that was linked from another forum
It seems to make sense to me, but would anyone here try it?
I have never been...
I bought my TA new in April 2006 from our local Honda dealer. Early on I noticed the steering head bearings were too tight, showing itself with a clear detent in the straight ahead position leading to strange low speed handling. See my posting here
I returned to bike to the dealer who...
Tesco Mega Store, blue AT with an XRV sticker on the screen, was it you?
Was about to go and introduce myself, blinked and you'd gone
Whoever you are, fancy a ride out one day?
Bring on the "not me's", I can take it:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Just been looking at the pix from the Wales ride. Very good they are too! Looks like it was fun. However, looking at the pix, there seem to be few Hondas. If this is the HONDA XRV web site where we love all things Honda and XRX, so how come so many of the senior members have junked their Hondas...
I've just changed the caliper on the Silverwing scooter that I use to commute on.
I've tried to bleed the brakes but I've got absolutely no pressure in the levers at all - I can't even get fluid to pump through the nipples when they are undone.
Any ideas or is there something else to do with...
I took the new TA out of a test ride yesterday, me like!
Feels quite a bit different from my 600, suspension a lot firmer but then my bike is 9 years old and had 43500 miles on it, so not a shock there :)
Quite comfy on the demo bike, seemed firm on the unridden bike I sat on.
