I bought one of the last Varas in 2014, made in 2011 I believe. I’ve done three long European rides (3K to 4K miles) and it’s been brilliant. It’s now done nearly 41K miles and in preparation for another long ride around Europe I’m thinking I should change the rear shock. Just looking at Haynes...

On a recent trip to Wales my trusty 94 xr250 let me down.
Just before it stopped all the electrics stopped but it was still running.
Then it stopped, I've got spark and had some little fires but not enough to run. And some wierd back fires.
Its think it's a electrical problem
My RD 4 seems to be running a little lean after i have installed a hi-flo filter and Arrow exhaust. I am thinking of fitting dynojets stage 1 kit, but is it worth the money?
The Arrow is fittet with a sligtly opened-up db-killer.
I have been running mine, testing etc, with out any fairing or sump guard and I like it
Bike still gets amazingly hot and I can feel more heat on my legs than before
I am hoping that's due to more airflow wafting around the engine
I am thinking a simple nose cone cowl only would be ample for...
