I've heard some good things about this essence ;) 17 quid a throw from Amazon dot co dot UK, but I read that it's best placed in the kitchen sink, in warm water for a bit, to thin it out before applying? Any tips appreciated, thanks :)

Not sure if this has been discussed already, but I got some plastic penetrating vinyl dye delivered this morning, and have just finished spraying the faded black plastic parts of my bike (chain guard, mudguard etc). The results so far have blown me away. They went from old, tatty looking...

Bought my XR4 in 2004 brand new:cool: i'd put two grand down on the bike six weeks before it came into the uk, so I had a long wait to get him home and named him JAWS (coz I figured he was swimming across the sea to me), then the crate came in and it seemed forever for the shop to hand it over...

Yesterday I traded my Dominator in against a 2004 Tiger 955i. I'd like to say thank you to everyone on the forum for useful advice and friendly company. Part of the reason for buying the Tiger is to do some European, Scandanavian and, potentially north African trips, mainly camping. The...

We started on Saturday which was a little early than expected but our babysitter had mini M on Friday night instead. We headed up the M4, M50, M5 and then M6 towards Carlisle. We had some really heavy rain all day and even my waterproof boots got very wet. My feet were sloshing and...

My mate Sidge has had a serious back operation and was going insane indoors. I offered to call in on the way home from work with some DVDs on two consecutive nights. The first night I tried to take a direct cross country route using only a printed out map off the internet, got a little lost and...

Hi Guys (& gals), Need some help PDQ. I broke down last week and traced the fault to a knackered fuel pump. I ordered a Facet from the site ( thank you Dave S ) and started to install it. After reading the threads on problems fitting the rubber surround, I nicked a pan from the kitchen...
