Hello and Season's Greetings.
I had posted this in "Other Makes", probably not a good idea.
I'm sure that a couple of years ago people on here were buying exhausts from a UK manufacturer, maybe somewhere in the Lake District, does that ring any bells?
Last weekend. The photo with no bike was looking towards where the trail went, discretion took over and I turned around (was out on my own and I'd thumped the underside a few times already). Is there a way to lift the rear ride height by an inch or two?
Just been reading this thread on ADVrider.com by mac inger, and it reminds me what level of photography is possible while travelling on a bike. Just well composed photos (albeit with post processing) taken with relatively simple gear.
Some photos from the thread:
For the non-bike...
Wasn't able to join you in the national due to work, but I'm hoping to get myself together for a weekend to visit the Lake District. I've penciled in Kirkstone, Honister, Hardknott & Wrynose passes. My questions are,
1, Any I've missed ?
2, Is there a "best" direction to do each pass in - are...
We tipped up to this after the HU meeting in Ripley. We got roasted there, but the weather was just like home on Monday evening, then it got hot again, just in time for our arrival :D The Hardknott pass was cool, but I wouldn't fancy it much in the wet.
I've been really busy at work for the past few weeks so haven't had time to plan for my trip away next week!

All fully legal - the Lake's are amazing to ride

Had a weekend of riding over Easter - great fun
Just didn't have enough time...
Can't keep the AT in the shed, so yesterday a couple of friends and I went for a ride up to the Lago di Monastero, near Torino.
The final part of the trail was covered in snow (and the tiny lake was frozen), but we had a really great time.
Our tyres were not the optimum given the conditions of...
Paul 24lb and I are heading to the Lake District over the Easter Hol's, no definate dates as yet it'll either be 15-16 and/or 16-17 April.
Maybe Buttermere or anyone know of a good site near a pub (or should that be, know of a site near a good pub!) towards the south of the Lake District?
