Guess the title says it all; have you Alp owners tried the TET North (Tynemouth to the Lakes area, via Hexham, Alston etc.) Wondering if it's a little too much for the Alp?
Eveyone is telling me a CRF250L or Rally // WR250 is the better choice!
Cheers

What was your best motorcycle trip this year?
Our 2016 highlight was riding the Kola Highway in Russia: from St. Petersburg along the two biggest lakes of Europe and the White Sea across the arctic circle to Murmansk and beyond.
We started the trip in SPB on 21st of June with the intension...
In glorious Cumbria near Alston. Last year for the inaugural rally there was chilli and baked spud, full breakfasts, BBQ, large communal fire and live music, ride outs to the Lakes, Kielder Forest drive and the Scottish Border. Location: Haggs Bank Bunkhouse Nentsberry Alston Cumbria CA9...
Last weekend. The photo with no bike was looking towards where the trail went, discretion took over and I turned around (was out on my own and I'd thumped the underside a few times already). Is there a way to lift the rear ride height by an inch or two?
Adventure as in adventure bike.
To me riding any bike is a bit of an adventure. Doesn't matter where you're going or for how long. To caitieM riding her little scoot arouind the estate is an adventure, to others an outing to The Lakes, Wales, Scotland is an adventure, and so it goes on.You can...
Just starting working in Ulverston (Mon-Fri), bit early to get out around the south lakes after work needs some more daylight........but planning ahead...are there trails that are legit for motorbikes (a trail bike, a Transalp or bigger) in Grizedale forest, hoping some of the fire roads are...

I'm thinking of going camping to either Sykeside CA11 0NZ near Kirkstone pass or Parkfoot near Pooley bridge Friday 16th July and Sat 17th with a trip over a few passes on Saturday, anyone interested?
Just can't figure out why this guy did it...are our members from that area and their families ok..?
I can't just work out what flips in a man's head to grab a gun and start shooting other human beings at random...:(
Johnny no mates today:(, one on holls and one with a dodgy bike so I set off alone heading south on the A7 keeping an eye on the dark clouds in the sky.
When I got to Carlisle I decided to go down the A6 to Penrith and after scrambled eggs on toast in the Rooster cafe I headed for the lakes...
Right Dont need words realy but DC has had a little off
He rode 240 miles to get to the campsite in Ullswater, the clue for the inclines is in the name 'Side Farm' NOT' the side of the lake but side of the mountain :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I know this post is probably in the wrong place, but does anyone fancy camping in the Lakes this weekend? Arriving at Langdale, pitching the tent at about 3pm ish .... then off to ride the passes, and back for some beer. A leisurely jaunt back on Sunday, with a detour through the Yorkshire...
Myself and a few mates are looking to take a short 2 / 3 day trip within the Uk in March / April and we've sort of decided that the lakes / northumberland area is somewhere we've not really explored despite it being within 100 miles of us.
We've done camping, and none of us are getting any...
