Guess the title says it all; have you Alp owners tried the TET North (Tynemouth to the Lakes area, via Hexham, Alston etc.) Wondering if it's a little too much for the Alp? Eveyone is telling me a CRF250L or Rally // WR250 is the better choice! Cheers D

Thinking of spoiling the old machine and replacing the 21year old rear shock. The YSS units that Wemoto sell seem to get great reports when fitted to the little CRF250L, so I was thinking of trying one out. Anyone on here tried one on a 600 Alp? I have prices up a Wilbers for it as well -...

Hi guys. I don't see how this makes sense ... but let me ask! After installing kitpeds raiser kit (+6cm front and back) & removing db killer, my clutch slips. Before I had no issue whatsoever (RD04 from 1992 with 87000km). I checked for free play on the clutch lever and there is more than...

My "front-end" saga continues with the discovery of seized brake caliper pistons and brittle caliper piston seals (that have been in there since 2001) Having never done this before.....Is this piston good for re-use? It seems to slide in and out of the bore ok, but looks a bit pitted/scored?

Hi everyone, I've recently discovered a rattle from the clutch cover on my 93 rd07. It happens when the clutch is pulled in. I'm thinking that it's the release bearing, wondering if anyone had any other ideas? Thanks Stewart Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Hello! I did a quick search in the forum but didn't find anything similar to my issue. My 2nd gear rattles quite a lot when I open the throttle throughout all the rev range. The rattle occurs only in 2nd gear and only during aceleration. I'm sure it comes from the gearbox and it's not something...

Greetings, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a little bump in the road I've come across in my build. As the title states I've thrown a NT650 / Bros 650 / Hawk 650 motor in a Transalp frame and my issue is the front cylinder's exhaust port isn't allowing me to get the Hawk's front header...

Hi, I'm looking to get some stiffer springs for a project bike (with unknown forks) and it could get expensive if I end up buying lots of different springs & rates new. It's been a little while since I had a Honda Transalp but think they might be suitable, so anyone got any old Transalp fork...

Paid the Ardnamurchan peninsular a visit on Friday, seeing as how Rederic of ABR forum had organised a little gathering at Strontian. Took the long way there via the Lecht, Glenshee, Pitlochry and Glencoe - no worthwhile photo’s from any of those locations – but I took a few from on the busy...
