I’m on changing the output shaft on my 700 XL and having started it up after the rebuild I am getting a very light noise from the clutch side, my question is there anything that is peculiar to the clutch to make it noisy. When I pull in the clutch lever the noise disappears. , there is also a...

Hi guys. I don't see how this makes sense ... but let me ask! After installing kitpeds raiser kit (+6cm front and back) & removing db killer, my clutch slips. Before I had no issue whatsoever (RD04 from 1992 with 87000km). I checked for free play on the clutch lever and there is more than...

I am doing a lot of off-road with my Africa (RD07) and in standing position i can't reach the rear brake pedal. So i am looking for a foot brake lever extension. Any suggestions? Do you think this do? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F192622018951

I'd like to experiment with a modification to the rear brake lever of my XL700 Transalp but want to keep my original lever in case it goes horribly wrong! Are the splines the same across the different Transalp models (or any other Hondas)? This would open up the choice of spare parts/price...

Can anyone recommend hand guards for the above bike. Snapped my hand brake lever ( but managed to manufacture a mock-up for now) Looking at the twist grip there doesn't seem to be provisions for fixing a two point gaurd, which I would prefer (more solid) It seems to be a closed off tube...

Can anyone tell me what the microswitch on the Clutch Lever is for? And the best way to remove/bypass it?

Was hoping someone could help with a braking issue (front) on my 1991 AT RD04. I've rebuilt the calipers and fitted the master cylinder repair kit, bled the brakes and fitted new pads but there's absolutely no build up of pressure at the brake lever. A couple of times I've managed a very slight...

Last weekend the gearlever on the XL600V got well bent up with the end getting under the footrest...and it could have been a lot of a problem..except i was rescued by a few nice blokes with a big vice and a hammer...ANYWAY...TopBuzz99 had previously put a post on here about a good...

Assume gear lever was worn, purchased new one, shaft also worn :( would it be ok to weld for now? I assume it's engine out and strip etc ? Any other ideas ? Could I drill through pedal and shaft tap it then add grub screw ? What options do I have Tia Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
