    Ok, the maximum payload of the 650 Alp is 180kg (according to the owners manual). Now, combined weight of Vanessa & I is about 160kg..... It don't take a genious to work out that, to add the crash bars (5kg ?); centre stand (3kg ?); panniers + racks, say 10kg there isn't much spare capacity...
