Further to my previous post, I am still looking for a right hand side panel for my XL600 LMF. If anyone can loan me a panel so I can have a copy made, send me a message or call me on 01708 863500. Also I need a rear wheel, any condition considered.
I have just got rid of my Kawasaki Zephyr 500 and I am looking for my next bike.
I have several bikes in mind and am looking for suggestions in the 500cc to 600cc single or twin.
The bikes on my list are.
Honda XBR500....................cant afford the GB500 clubman.
5 years ago Stumpy fingers loaned me some panniers for 2 weeks.
I gave them back to him on Tuesday. Sorry Stumpy and thanks again. Your a top man. I think they are going to look great on your new bike..
Looking for the handle that mounts somewhere towards the back of the bike on a 1997 RD07, I'm not bothered if it's a genuine Honda, Motech or burger king as long as it fits, I got a centre stand kit with the bike when I bought it but it's missing the handle, if anyone has one for sale I'd love...
as it says above,
does anyone around Derby have a chain riveter that I could borrow?
I've got to replace one of those oily chain things on the daughters bike but don't have the tools to rivet the new chain.
promise I'll take care of it if anyone is kind enough to loan me one :)
Hi all, no one had a trailer spare for a week (okay big ask) but how about one for just next sunday (4th July) prob about 100 round trip-ish could involve some beer tokens, if that might pursuade someone? as my alternative at the moment is a trailer from the local farm, still I'm sure the bales...
Just following up my post in the suggestions section;)
Has anyone in Devon, Cornwall, Dorset or Somerset got a single bike trailer going free for a week in mid-late August, I can badger you closer to the time if it helps, Just testing the water.
I don't know much about the XR650R but my mate has left one here for me to store for him (and play with:p). I have to say that Iv'e always thought Honda had the best build quality going but the XR is something else indeed, the frame is a work of art, the engine has so much grunt and sounds the...
I'm thinking of buying some tools that forum members might need that can be loaned out to subscribed members.
It would need a deposit paying to borrow the tool in case it gets lost or damaged, plus any postage costs.
I'm also thinking of extending this to parts that people might need for a...
...which I've been given for the day by Hunts while my Vara's having its' 8000 mile service.
Hmmm, not for me, I fear - bars are too narrow and low, whole thing's a bit gutless, and the exhaust sound, dear God, I've heard mobile ringtones with more oomph. It goes "Parp". Or perhaps "Pwort"...
Just wondering if any of the minority KTM Adventure riders on here who own one of those grey Hepco & Becker top cases would like to sell or loan one to me for a short trip I'm doing at the end of May. (about 12 days in total). Lots of beer tokens for any one interested in loaning ;);):D
Took my bike in for it's 4k service and they gave me this :o:o.
5 miles on the clock, brand spanking new. 950SM-R, Crikey !!!:thumbright:
Very nice, but, I could'nt wait to get mine back tho.:blob8::blob8::blob8:.:D:D.
An American biker friend of mine is coming over for my wedding (gasp, choke, cough. Still freaks me out to say that) in July. It's a long haul for him and, given the weakness of the dollar, an expensive one. Since he's come all this way, he figures he'll have a look around for a few days. He was...
