    Hi There, I have a 1997 Transalp XL600V. Its my first venture into the world of bikes and I am loving it so far. Simple question (I hope!). Which type of coolant should I use in the bike? OAT Antifreeze or Silicate Antifreeze? Does it matter? If so why does it matter? Thanks in advance! Paul

    loving the ta-deti transalp poges, this page: http://www.ta-deti.de/ta/enguard.html shows a pattern for an engine guard via big greg aldis would anyone know if this was for the 650 transalp?. I have a mate who welds and could make me one but need to know its for the right bike. cheers :thumbup:

    Hello everyone I am riding a 2001 XL650V, really loving it, except whenever i rev up to 5K rpm the bike will wobble very badly till 3Krpm it becomes normal I have change my steering cones, new balanced tires, wheel bearings, anyone know the cause of this? Thanks:p
