now Avon Gripsters are no longer available I am considering replacing the rear with a Mitas MC24 ( I have them on the TA600) or E-08 (cheaper than MC24 & bit more road orientated).
I only use the TA650 on the road or gravel but many local roads are poorly surfaced and often quite muddy.
I'm off on a long tour around Europe next year with the misses me on the xrv750 her on a cb500x.

Is the mitas e07 a good choice for the twin...
Hi guys, I'm looking to get some more agressive tyres for my XRV 750 RD07 1996, as I will be riding a lot of sand and dirt here in Australia.
I have until now run Mitas E07, but would love a bit more grip in the sand.
I am looking at a TKC 80 for the front.
Interested in the new Motoz...

I am after a set that are roughly 80% road, 20% off road - ish. I do like the idea of going off road on my bike, but the stock...

I'm going to be doing the Spanish HISS twice this year, the May trip to Aragon is not going to be as demanding off road as Catalonia in September, so I am pondering taking the Vara as there will be a lot of road work going out from St Malo.

Just got a pair of Mitas E07 s for my Africa Twin which I plan to fit myself ( it's my first attempt to fit tyres ). I ordered tubed type but they 've sent me a tubeless rear. Question is will the tubeless be harder for me to fit than the tubed type ?
Thanks for any advice :thumbright:
Well after over a year of K60 Scout on the bike I decided today to get the Mitas e09 + Pirelli M21 combi fitted. The Scouts have been IMO a really good all round tyre and lasted well, still got about 4 maybe 5mm left in the center but after taking the bike through the woods on a wet track and...
