If the answer is yes can you please have a look at your service manual (the one which honda supplied ) and let me know the initial setting and final setting of the mixture /pilot screw. I think it's on page 5-18.
Is there a easyer way to set the mixture on a 125cc?
Going by haynes screw the pilot screw it in until it seats then back out 2 3/4 turns then adjust to find highest consistent idle speed then screw back in to drop idle speed 50 rpm then back out 3/4.

i am thinking while I have the carb off to try to fix my lack of tick over to try to find an extended mixture screw as the originals are such a pain,I can find plenty listed for keihin FCR carbs but none for CV carb.
Does anyone know are they interchangable or have a source for one for CV carb

Hi All, were talking jets here, now I'm running rich on my old XJ and the pilot jets appear clear and are 1.5 turns out as per spec, now I want to try and reduce the richness of the mixture, so do I tighten them up or loosen them (told you it was basic :toothy10: )
