So I’m rebuilding a ‘89 XRV650 and I want to paint the engine. The side cases I removed and I want them to be powdercoated but I’m in doubt about the colour. Powdercoat can be done in most RAL colours. Anyone ever done this and know which colour comes closest to the original?
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on who to go to for parts? Who is the best / best value / most helpful supplier?
I also need a new battery and was wondering if I should go for a direct replacement or find a more modern sealed battery?

I am looking quite hard online for 2mm leather jackets but it seems the 1.1-1.4mm range is mostly in fashion.
Anyone knows of a good brand that makes leather thickness higher than that range please?
