For the CRF1000L Africa Twin, I have been reading that damage to the frame may entail complete frame replacement, as there is no rear subframe. In addition, I get the impression that the Honda oem accessory bars, are just that, and not implied by Honda to be crash protection.
If this is the...
Hi
I am trying to find a way of adjusting the rider foot pegs position on my XL700. The stock footpegs are in my way when I stop at the traffic light and I want to move the 2-3 cm to the front or to the back.
I know that SW-Motech had some pricey kits for the XL700, but are not available...
Hi folks...first post on here, it's probably been done to death so apologies in advance:
As a first-time TA owner, I'm after some crash bars and pannier racks (plus panniers eventually) I've seen the usual suspects on Ebay, (Givi, Heed, Hepco & Becker, SW motech) and a couple of eastern...
Well with the old Vara now gone I have the following bits available for free
SW motech luggage racks with most the fittings
Crash bars with no fittings
Both are rusty/scratched/dented/very well used
Could be brought back to life with a good wire brush and a tin of Hammerite!
I can't be...
So... thats basically it.
There's a fmx SW-motech centre stand on sale for 70 bucks, and I was wondering if it will fit my SLR. Are the connections on both bikes the same?
Cheers.

Finally got my first decent ride on this new acquired bike today. :D
After a little suspension and carby tuning, I think I'm going to like it!
My main concern is how much the fairing rattles and moves about on rougher tracks. Not sure what I can do about it, though.
It came with lots of...

Hi all,
Wondering if any of you has SW Motech, Givi or Heavy Duties crash bars? To be exact i'm asking those who already "tested" them (fallen, slided, dropped the bike)?
Heavy Duties seem to be at a very reasonable price, but would really want to know about their durability and ruggedness in...
Removed from my 650 Transalp prior to sale after only 4000 miles of summer use. These come with unused rubber inserts (I used them without) and are in close to new condition. They transform comfort - I liked them so much I've just ordered a set for my GS as sadly they're not transferable. For...
Hello guys
I recently bought an used centerstand five-stars brand, i basically found it online and it was cheap enough because the SW-MOTECH one was extremely expensive
Anyway, I'm encountering a few problems to installed, the main problem is that i cannot remove the right front footrest...
Okay here she is, my new bike. A 2013 XT1200Z Super Tenere in White.
Picked her up from Tamworth Yamaha yesterday. Done 13,000mls and in excellent condition. She was given a service, 1st MOT, fork seals replaced (one was weeping) new front mudguard (old one had a hairline crack where previous...
Evening boys & girls,
I've been a member for a while but not had a ' trail ' bike for some time so haven't posted. Just picked up a 700TA.
As is normal with a newbie, I have a couple of questions;
1. Screens.....Anyone used both the MRA Vario, and the Givi touring screen, and can give an...

I'm sure we all agree that one of the only faults with the new bike is the crap skid/bash plate. Just doesn't seem to give much protection at all from the front. As almost all my riding is done on fairly crap roads covered in muck/gravel, I'd like to fit something more business like to give...
Hi all,
I'm after a new tankbag for my Tranny.
Currently I've got a Bagster/Baglux cover fitted with a small 8 litre tankbag and I'm looking at a larger touring sized tankbag about 20-25 litres.
I've been looking at the GIVI and SW MOTECH range that clips onto a tank ring.
I'm wondering...
